Maintenance Notification for Email Server Migration (SM2010030101)

by Keith Klein | Mar 1, 2010 | Client News

On Friday, March 5, 2010 at 11:30 pm we will be migrating email to a new server cluster. We expect the email migration to take less then two hours to complete. During this time you will not be able to retrieve new email from the server. We will be spooling email to ensure no email is lost and will unspool email when we have completed the move and tested the system. The reason we are moving email to a new cluster is two fold. First is due to growth of the email system, instead of putting a stopgap on our clients overall email usage we are working to expand our infrastructure to allow for this growth. The second is to ensure we are able to reach our goal of 99.99% uptime by continuing to provide a stable, fault-resistant platform. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us at support@onyourmark.com.

Update: The email migration has been completed.
